Sport/health intervention with HEdS 👨🏫
As part of the Pacte Grenat, our players took part wednesday in a Sport/Health workshop given by the students of the HEdS (High School of Health of Geneva), in partnership with Palliative Genève.
The theme of this first intervention was palliative care.
The students chose to use the world of sport for their intervention.
The objectives of this action with our players were to :
1. To be able to provide knowledge and change beliefs related to palliative care.
2. Promoting the benefits of sport in palliative care.
As in palliative care, rugby emphasises team values, mutual aid, the construction of a project (care project, relief project/team project, game project) and objectives to be achieved.
🔜 On the occasion of the Servette - Annecy derby on 16 April, the students will be able to present their intervention to as many people as possible. We will have the pleasure of welcoming many of them to the stadium!
Other interventions may take place in the near future on other themes.
