It was a great sixth edition between Servette Rugby and Barbarian Suisse Rugby Club.
This gala match was sponsored by naxoo, Geneva's mobile operator, and took place at the Cherpines Sports Center on Saturday June 17, 5:30pm.
For some Servette players it was their last match under the Grenat jersey, or even on a rugby pitch.
It was therefore a fitting occasion to pay tribute to our players against the Swiss Barbarians of former French international Antonie Claassen, also playing his last match.
Servette Rugby came away with a fine 31-20 victory.
The presentation of the naxoo trophy was then accompanied by the departure of a number of our players, including captain of the evening Vincent Darracq, who was playing his hundredth Grenat match.
Servette Rugby is delighted to have been able to congratulate its departing players in such a fitting manner, and thanks naxoo for this gala match.
