The club has joined forces with the brand, sharing many values such as a taste for effort, determination, cohesion, respect and fighting spirit. Le Coq Sportif is the new equipment supplier to Servette Rugby Club! Renowned for its sporting excellence and performance for over 140 years, the brand will accompany the Club for the next three seasons. For its arrival in Nationale 2, Servette Rugby Club wanted to take things to the next level by associating itself with the values promoted by the brand.
Indeed, whether it's the Grenat or the Coq Sportif, the two entities have in common a taste for effort, determination, cohesion, respect and fighting spirit. Values that are unique to rugby and that shape the athletes and people of today and tomorrow. Beyond the sporting aspect, current social issues play an important role in the values that SRC and Le Coq Sportif aim to defend. Inclusion, sport for all, and the ecological aspect of sport are all part of the Club's challenges and objectives.
The history of Le Coq Sportif is punctuated by great sporting moments, particularly in rugby. Partner to over twenty teams and numerous professional players in the past, the brand is a multiple championship winner with legendary teams such as Racing Club de France, RC Toulon, FC Lourdes and AS Beziers. Today, Le Coq Sportif is a partner of the French Rugby Federation, Union Argentine Rugby, Aviron Bayonnais, Montpellier Hérault Rugby and RC Vannes in the Top 14, as well as Stade Aurillacois in Pro D2.
